Who We Are
St Andrews Caledonian Pipe Band is Tasmania's oldest Pipe Band, was established in 1933 by Bob Mackenzie and is based Launceston. We are a competing Grade 4B band that also enjoys playing music in a family friendly atmosphere throughout our community, interstate and overseas. The band wears Makenzie tartan.

What We Do
Hire
Our Band is available for hire for any event, from a single piper to a whole band we can cater for your next event whether it is a wedding, corporate function, funeral, birthday or any other special occasion, contact us today to find out what we can do for you.
Join
If you have ever thought about learning pipes or drums or picking it back up after not playing for a while, we would love to hear from you. We cater for all ages, our current players range from 12 to 72. We have a family friendly atmosphere and provide group and one on one tuition in pipes and drums and you don't need any previous experience. We will even teach you to be a Drum Major out the front leading the band!
All Ages Welcome
At St Andrews Caledonian Pipe Band, we welcome players of any age, we currently have players from age 12 to 72 and learners as young as 8.
